Go!Paint introduced a new paint strainer system (patent pending) at the
Painting & Decorating Show in June 2026. This new product range is specially designed to strain paint, coatings and other liquids hands-free, which should help you save paint, time and therefore money too!
Why strain paint?
Flakes, hard particles and other contaminants in paint can be a nightmare for any painter and decorator, as it can seriously undermine the end result. It can also compromises the protection provided by the applied coating.
Removing these particles from the paint can take a lot of time and effort, especially once it has already been applied to the floor, wall or window frame. Customers expect a flawless finish, so it’s no surprise that more and more painters understand the importance of straining their paint before applying it. Besides, who wouldn’t want to work more efficiently with clean, pure paint for a better finish?
Benefits of the GO!PAINT Filter
Paint is already strained in various ways, from filter bags and net bags to stainless steel strainers. So what makes this newly developed strainer unique? The Go!Paint Filter offers a solution to one of the biggest annoyances… Having to stand by or hold it, to prevent the strainer sinking into the paint.
Key benefits
- Hands-free! Use your time for something else whilst your paint runs through the strainer
- No bits and dust, just pure paint
- Holder and strainers are reusable
- Made from 100% recycled material
- Holder fits round, oval and rectangular paint buckets and cans
- Various mesh sizes for wall paint, lacquers and other liquids

The specially designed holder sits firmly on top of a bucket or can, the S holds 1-litre (a 5-litre XL version is coming soon), giving you time to do something else. After all, time is money. When it’s finished draining, the holder can be simply whipped off and reused after cleaning responsibly (according to your local regulations).
Made from 100% recycled material, both the holder and the strainers are made from post-consumer 100% recycled plastic, sourced from sterile medical packaging. This contributes to a circular solution.
The Go!Paint Filter S and XL will be available in stores later this year.

The new range includes a Filter S Set Starter Kit with one holder and ten sieves (five 500 micron and five 1000 micron). Sieves will be available in ten packs of 500 or 1000 micron mesh for the Filter S, or five pack for the Filter XL in 1200 micron.
