Drawing from the Absolutely Flawsome trend, Graham & Brown has launched three new designs. Amherst Garden, Obassia Silk, and Hartley Damask, draw from a desire to embrace the differences and imperfections in everyone and everything. These designs celebrate uniqueness, influenced by multicultural references and the mixture of materials, creating a rich and diverse palette drawn from around the globe.
Amherst Garden
Inspired by the Lady Amherst pheasant and drawing from the flora of Southwestern China, this truly opulent design is sure to attract attention. Available in four colourways, Sage (pictured above), Teal, Bronze and Mulberry, Amherst Garden is painted in an illustrative way. It’s recommended to pair with one of the four perfectly partnered paint hues and plain fabrics in order to ensure the wallpaper is the standalone focus of any room.
The Absolutely Flawsome Trend has developed from a yearning to rebel against the ‘crowd following’ nature of society, encouraging you to break out from the norm and become more unapologetically individual.
Obassia Silk
Taking its name from the Japanese Styrax Obassia tree, this design uses contemporary colours creating a mix of cultures and bespoke design. The delicate detailing depicts the same ovate leaves and flowers as the tree itself, with the shimming detailing creating the illusion of silk. Available in four colourways, Opulence (pictured below), Teal, Midnight, and Dawn, with colour palette offering a completely different ambiance.
The trend can be expressed through upcycling and handcrafting aspects of your interior. It’s all about seeing beauty in all items and making them shine again, thus creating a bespoke and special space.
Hartley Damask
The Hartley Damask design brings the intricate filigree design to life with precious metallic intricacies. True damask was originally wholly of silk, but gradually the name came to be applied to a certain type of patterned fabric regardless of fibre. This design combines British country manor chic, with the historical nature of this woven design technique. A perfect reflection of the Flawsome trend, combining a very matte look with metallic shimmer, Hartley Damask is available in four colourways, Wedgewood (pictured above), Teal, Neutral, and Sage, with perfectly partnered paints and fabrics carefully chosen to create a seamless interior scheme.
