Graco have launched two new high-performance, ultra-portable cordless paint sprayers
On many construction sites, power is simply unavailable, or severely limited to certain areas or buildings. The conventional solutions are generators or long extension cords, but each has its drawbacks.
Generators are often expensive, not only to purchase but also fuel and maintenance costs, they are also heavy, bulky and difficult to move, loud and let’s not forget their unhealthy exhaust fumes. Extension cords limit movement and are a tripping hazard.
Battery power is booming
It’s no surprise that battery powered tools are increasing in popularity, they can be used anywhere on site. It avoids power failures (which can damage your equipment), there’s no need to search for outlets, and you don’t have to share them with other professionals.
To meet the demands of painters, Graco has launched two stationary cordless sprayers, the GX21 Cordless and the Classic 390 PC Cordless.
For larger jobs
The Classic 390 PC Cordless is a solid workhorse for indoor and outdoor jobs in medium-sized homes and small commercial projects. Its beating heart is the Endurance™ pump which lasts twice as long as comparable pumps, and reaches a maximum pressure of 227 bar with a flow rate of 1.8l/min. The Advantage drive train has hardened steel spur gears that ensure extremely quiet operation, and the EasyOut™ pump filter reduces material clogs and guarantees a high-quality finish.
It’s good to share
The two sprayers boast a number of common revolutionary features that make these units unique and give painters the freedom they’re looking for. The DeWalt® 54V 6.0Ah FlexVolt battery gives the possibility to spray up to 11.5 litres of paint on a single charge, which takes less than 60 minutes with the included quick charger, and both sprayers come with two batteries included in the box to avoid any downtime while spraying.
Both are equipped as standard with Graco’s RAC X™ Low Pressure SwitchTips™. Not only do they guarantee a top-notch finish, but spraying with less pressure improves battery life and reduces overspray.
